They were recorded and performed by some of the most beloved artists of the 20th century. The Academy Award and Grammy winning lyricist served as President of ASCAP Board of Directors, Chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and was the recipient of the coveted Gershwin Prize Award conferred at the White House by President Obama.
